The Montréal notarial firm of GRENIER GAGNON is pleased to announce that Mtre. Christine Gagnon, Notary, a recognized expert in co-ownership law, has joined its team of professionals as a Consulting Notary. The firm's already well-established expertise in real estate law is complemented by the arrival of Mtre. Gagnon. The firm's clients and professionals, as well as all who work alongside Mtre. Gagnon, will reap the benefits of her top-flight contribution in the highly complex area of co-ownership in real estate law. With a brilliant academic career coupled with solid experience acquired over the past 15 years, Mtre. Gagnon will take the reins of GRENIER GAGNON's co-ownership law division. Admitted to practice as a notary in 1989, Mtre. Gagnon has a master's degree in Civil Law from Université Laval, as well as a doctorate in the same discipline from Université de Montréal, where her thesis was on divided co-ownership law. In addition to authoring several journal articles on divided co-ownership, Mtre. Gagnon also published Québec's first reference work on the subject, La copropriété divise. She is an in-demand guest speaker at law conferences, and she lectures on co-ownership law at both Université Laval and Université de Montréal. Mtre. Gagnon is a member of the Québec City notarial firm of Côté, Taschereau Samson Demers as well as the Chambre nationale des experts en copropriété of Paris.
